FYSE - Foundation for Youth Social Entrepreneurship
The Foundation for Youth Social Entrepreneurship (FYSE) works on two crucial steps in their entrepreneurial circle by inspiring more young people in Asia to consider entrepreneurship through role modeling and in supporting youth entrepreneurs in the start-up and growth stage of their venture. Our flagship program is the Paragon fellowship, an regional program that selects and nurtures 100 young social Changemakers and entrepreneurs of up to 30 years of age and provides them as inspiring role models to our youth. The annual Paragon Conference than connects those young people inspired to take actions and young entrepreneurs not only to share ideas, trends and approaches, but to connect and to initiate collaborations between sectors and participants. www.fyse.org

Paragon: 2010
The Paragon Conference is the annual gathering of Asia's most inspiring young entrepreneurs and social Changemakers and the next generation of young aspiring entrepreneurs. For the first time the conference will become a crucial platform to gather Asia's most outstanding entrepreneurs of the emerging and current generation, not only to share ideas, trends and approaches, but to connect and to initiate collaborations between sectors and participants. The young entrepreneurs speaking at the event are outstanding individuals, leading a new generation of youth in Asia that stopped talking and started acting upon their dreams. BYCL is proud to have Top to Top as their feature partner. We are working with them to chalk out their expedition in India and the applicants will have the opportunity to hear and interact wth the Founder and expeditionary leader of Top to Top at the BYCL summit.

1. Toptotop - TOPtoTOP is a non profit organisation of volunteers under the patronage of the United Nations Environment Program. A unique challenge from TOP to TOP and SCHOOL to SCHOOL: A Swiss family together with volunteers share the joy of sport and environmental action to protect the climate with young people all over the world. www.toptotop.org
2. The TOPtoTOP Global Climate Expedition is the 1st expedition over the 7-Seas to the 7-Summits that will be achieved by human and nature's power only.
3. Our mission is to inspire children for a better future. Along the expedition we share examples of nature's beauty and innovations for a green planet, in class rooms all over the world.
4. Our key messages is "climate protection" and "enjoy nature through sport but also give something back to nature".
5. The expedition is a reference to demonstrate that great goals and progress can be achieved in balance with nature.
6. Our vision is that TOPtoTOP becomes a lasting platform which inspires children for nature and sport globally.

BYCL is also proud to feature Barefoot Power as an example of fine entrepreneurship in the climate action campaign. The BYCL Plenary will have Stewart Craine as a speaker and mentor at the BYCL summit in February.

Barefoot Power is a social entrepreneurial business. We design and manufacture technology products specifically for poor people that have the potential to reduce poverty in developing countries.
We believe that energy access is one of the key building blocks of economic development. Our first area of focus, therefore, is on the most basic use of electricity - lighting.

Over US$10 billion is spent each year on kerosene for lighting in the homes of the poor in developing countries (see Lighting Africa and the Lumina Project). Our mission is to help poor families to stop spending their scarce cash by giving them a better and cheaper option. We are declaring war on kerosene!

To do this, we have developed a range of affordable quality lighting products and initiated their mass manufacture.
