Our objectives include:

• Enable technology transfer through CDM (Clean Development Mechanism).
• Develop demand side energy efficiency projects such as the Bachat Lamp Yojana with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power.
• Creation of education and re-training modules for the industry.
• Carbon transaction services and portfolio management.
• Creation of an integrated platform or portal for eco-sustainable designs in the residential sector.
• Rural solar lighting/rural projects to replace kerosene lamps.

We are passionate about training and educating leaders of tomorrow on climate change mitigation and integrating the agenda of energy conservation and climate change with mainstream corporate strategy.

The Sacred Fig Foundation is a voluntary action group extended from the corporate arm of Arctic Holdings that intends to enable, empower and educate the youth and community to participate in conserving energy and resources of the earth such as water and air.

• We work with students, communities, entrepreneurs and individuals to promote awareness and projects about climate action.
• We participate in school and college curriculum and running creativity competitions on climate action.
• Using the online medium such as Facebook to build communities for climate action.
• Creating a network of volunteers and students who participate in climate action projects (Earth Hour, 350.org, Clean ups) and mobilising them.
• Creating scholarships for students who want to study environmental management.
